Veryan is a quaint little village famous for its roundhouses.
It’s a good base for walking and exploring Nare Head, Carne Beach and one of the most beautiful stretches of the South West Coast Path.
There’s a circular walk from Veryan that will take you past the Nare Hotel (located just on Carne Beach and a great place to have lunch or a delicious cream tea) and on to the dramatic Nare Head.
In Veryan Green you’ll find Veryan Galleries, a lovely little gallery that’s been going strong for 40 years. Also in the heart of the village is the New Inn pub, an unspoilt traditional 16th century Cornish pub.
