St Anthony Head

Explore this spectacular headland and lighthouse while you’re visiting the Roseland.

Just lace up your walking boots, grab a picnic and make sure you’ve got your sense of adventure in tow.

St Anthony Head is at the very tip of the Roseland Peninsula and a ‘must visit.’  It guards the entrance to Falmouth Harbour and has fantastic views over to the Lizard Peninsula, and lovely walks around the South West Coast path.  For more information about walks and car parks, go to https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/st-anthony-head.

Alternatively, head to St Mawes and in the summer you can hop on the Place Ferry to enjoy walks around the headland.  You can visit two secluded beaches on the way, Great and Little Molunan.

Keep your eyes peeled for seabirds of all types. If you’re really lucky you may even catch a glimpse of the peregrine falcons which nest in the cliffs; visit the bird hide near the lighthouse for an even closer look.
