Little and Great Molunan Beach

Set in the shelter of St Anthony Lighthouse and headland, the two Molunan coves overlook the Carrick Roads and Falmouth harbour.

Great Molunan is a sheltered section of pale golden sand backed by low green cliffs.  Unlike Little Molunan, which joins with it on a low tide, there is a small beach here at all but the very highest tides.

Despite being a short distance as the crow flies from St Mawes, the Molunan beaches are right at the tip of St Anthony Head, and access is down a steep set of steps from the headland (lighthouse) car park or via the footpath from Place. Most visitors arrive by boat!
