Trenona Farm offers self catering cottages on a working farm on the Roseland Peninsula, Cornwall
Set in an area of outstanding natural beauty, Trenona Farm is a working mixed farm run by David and Pamela Carbis for the past twenty years.The farm has 250 beef cattle, 90 acres of cereal crops together with the traditional menagerie of dogs, cats, chickens and the occasional pig!. Guests staying in the self catering accommodation are welcome to see the animals and to explore the countryside using the footpath network to the coast (3 miles) or inland.
David runs his own farm machinery business on the farm, which started after successive awards in farm machinery invention competitions.
The farm has both woodlands and streams running through it. There is ample parking close to the house with room for boats and trailers and under cover storage for bicycles.
There are three self catering cottages – Chy Tyak and Chy Whel sleep 6 plus a cot and Chy-un-Lur sleeps 5 plus cot. All the cottages are well equipped and decorated to a high standard.
We aim to give our guests a warm welcome and provide a homely and relaxed atmosphere for your holiday. We welcome pets by arrangement.
The Roseland Peninsula is centrally located in Cornwall, on the South Coast, and is surrounded by rolling countryside and long sandy beaches. The area boasts many attractions, restaurants & pubs and activities, and is excellent for those keen on walking holidays. The Roseland Peninsula’s mild climate makes visiting the area appealing all year round.
