The Kings Head
Welcome to the Kings Head, just a few miles outside Truro & about 8 miles
from St Mawes, deep in the beautiful Roseland Countryside at the head of
the Fal Estuary.
In the tiny hamlet of Ruan Lanihorne, this country pub offers a warm
welcome, great beers & wines and simple local food, cooked well.
In the summertime, on the terrace, or the sunken Beer Garden..at
lunchtimes, or in the early evening sunshine, enjoy this beautiful spot
with maybe a jug of Pimms.. Or some home made Elderflower. Eat some
locally sourced Mussels, or fresh Fish from our specials board, which
changes daily according to what has been landed..
Wintertime sees us with roaring log fires, beamed ceilings, friendly
ambiance, comfy sofa & a choice of winter warming dishes to make you feel
cosy, maybe with a glass of mulled wines.
Whatever the season, The Kings Head responds, welcoming all year, whatever
the weather. Local produce as much as possible, carefully chosen for it¹s
quality, and simply cooked to the best of our abilities. The Pub is open
for Lunches & Dinners (closed afternoons) and during busy periods, it is
advisable to book.
