Veryan is a quaint little village famous for its roundhouses.
It’s a good base for walking and exploring Nare Head and Carne Beach.
From here you can explore one of the most beautiful stretches of the South West Coast Path.
There’s a circular walk from Veryan that will take you past the Nare Hotel and on to the dramatic Nare Head. The Nare Hotel serves lunches and cream teas, so is a good stop off point. If the weather is good, take the time to explore Carne Beach, a beautiful unspoilt beach that never gets crowded.
You’ll find a cup of tea and a wholesome snack from the mobile tea shop in the car park.
In Veryan itself you’ll find Veryan Galleries, a lovely little gallery that’s been going strong for 40 years.
