In October 2011, Truro will be hosting its fourth annual 'Music Truro' festival, celebrating the breadth and diversity of musical talent in the city. An eclectic mix of events, workshops and experiences for all ages will stand alongside a strong and diverse line-up of performers.
During the festival, Truro will be showcasing some of the best up and coming bands from across Cornwall at two major gigs - 'Cream of Cornish' will feature the bands that are currently attracting national attention, whilst 'Cornwall Unsigned' will take a look at the musicians to keep a close eye on over the next twelve months. Other events during the festival will include a Cornwall Music Forum, a busking competition plus a whole range of performances, large and small scale; indoors and outdoors.
