Meryl & John invite you to Gwel-An-Vala on the Roseland Peninsula which is a child free sanctuary and has been designed to provide peace and quiet far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The bed and breakfast is a short drive away from St Mawes, Portscatho, Ruan and other villages of the Roseland.
Our bed and breakfast offers three double bedrooms and has been designed to provide luxury B&B for couples looking to spend quality time together. All of our rooms have huge comfy "Super King" beds, immaculate deep carpets, luxury bathrooms with invigorating showers large bath tubs and heated towel rails. Our rooms come with individually controlled central heating.
Gwel an Vala bed and breakfast is situated in the lovely Cornish village of Philleigh which boasts its own 17th Century Inn, The Roseland Inn. The Cornish coastline with beautiful sandy beaches and stunning coastal walks is close by. We are conveniently situated within easy reach of many local sandy beaches and gardens which are a feature of the area. We are on the main cycle trail and there are many footpaths for walkers. St Mawes with its Castle and ferry trips is only some 6.5 miles away we are even closer the lovely church of St Just.
If you must do some shopping while here Truro and St Austell are both within a 30 minute drive and have a good selection of large stores and main line railway stations. If you are travelling to us by train and would like us to arrange transport from the station for you please contact us.
We have extensive gardens to the front and rear from which you can see the River Fal.
